About NACE  . . .

The National Academy for Continuing Education (NACE) was founded and began operation in February 1996. The mission and objective of the National Academy for Continuing Education - NACE - is to provide quality continuing education to professional individuals, businesses and organizations, through home studies & audio cassettes, (distance learning methods), videos and other state-of-the-art communication methods.  The courses offered by NACE are designed to contain the most professional, up-to-the-minute information possible and are written by the leading authorities for each particular field.

The National Academy for Continuing Education (NACE) complies with the criteria and standards of the leading national distance learning and continuing education associations and agencies and meets the criteria of individual state health care associations and groups.

NACE works closely with national organizations and their components to enhance the availability of quality educational programs. NACE strives to produce material that will increase the individual knowledge base and at the same time provide courses and materials that are economically feasible and geographically available to all.  Continuous contact is maintained with state and national organizations and associations to ascertain the latest approval information and to assure compliance with all pertinent laws, rules and requirements.

Each course is reviewed by a member of the NACE editorial board of experts for clinical content, accuracy and timeliness.

An interactive Hot Line - 800 555-8468, is provided for all registrants while taking a course.  The registrant may be put in contact with others taking the same course, experts in the field, a member of the editorial board or directly in touch with the author.
